KI-COACHING - Corporate ki

CORPORATE KI

Martial arts recycle stress and provide unique exercices to help you successfully reach your goals. A strong mind and good physical health enhances individual performance. While this statement may seem obvious, it affirms the importance of a mastered ki within an extremely competitive corporate environment.

The body language of ki: how to read the signs

An uncoordinated body is very noticeable when an individual walks. Their head sinks into their shoulders, their feet drag, or their gait oscillates from left to right. Look at their faces, the tics, the grimaces or the eyes that blink uncontrollably. Bad posture and destructive habits are the visible signs of an internal disorder that affects our performance. Our bodies talk, we just have to listen. Medical studies have been performed on the signs of vulnerability individuals can send out unintentionally. For example, research has shown that potential victims move in an uncoordinated manner. Their bodies appeared disjointed, while non-victims moved in a more coordinated manner. Our disciplined and educated body are our best protection. We constantly emit and receive body signs in a corporate environment. Our voice, our posture and our charisma are the decisive elements that allow us to successfully reach our goals.

Ki and breathing

We all posses an innate talent, or at best, capacities, aptitudes, gifts that help us excel at something. In Japan, this excellence is called 'having kokyu'; yet ko means inspiration and kyu means expiration…When someone puts all their effort into one particular domain, they can discover the original unity between the body and mind, a freedom of action, and the right movement with the right motivation. Thanks to the practice of KI-Coaching and the importance given to breathing during exercises, you can develop an awareness of your ki. This will maximize your potential and help you achieve greater professional success. Breathing nurtures our talents. Ki is not just electromagnetic fluid. Proper breathing greatly influences how strong a presentation or negotiation will be during an important meeting.

Kiaï - the power of sound

Ki is connected to kiaï, which is a sound, a cry directed towards an opponent during an attack or defense. Kiaï comes from the ideograms ki (energy) and aï (to unite). Kiaï is a way to unite action and thought…yet energy follows thought. My action is blocked if my thought stops at the barrier that represents the person I am addressing or my opponent. Kiaï directs the ki by combining the intention and the will to complete the action. During a business meeting or presentation, a mastered kiaï can be completely inaudible and have the power to influence and persuade.
